Project Overview
LadX emerged to address the persistent challenges of logistics across Africa. High costs, slow deliveries, and unreliable services created barriers for trade and personal connections. Joining the founding team, I played a pivotal role in building a platform that leverages community networks, AI, and real-time technology to redefine logistics in Africa.
Problem
Cross-border logistics in Africa are expensive, slow, and often unreliable, limiting trade, e-commerce growth, and personal shipments across countries.
Solution
Developed a full-stack crowdshipping platform that matches travelers with delivery requests, integrates real-time tracking, automates payment processing, and provides AI-driven support for users—all while ensuring security, trust, and scalability.
My Role
Lead Full-Stack Developer & Engineering Lead – Architected and developed core platform features from the ground up. Built an AI agent leveraging RAG and LLMs. Handled DevOps responsibilities and mentored junior engineers managing a team of 5 developers.
